Why it works
The pen starts over empty space at 0:00 and a gold segment appears by 0:00.25, making the hand motion feel causal. The ring gains stones and closes into a legible form by about 0:02.75; the small real ring in a pink box at 0:11.4 pays off the oversized illusion. The detector reports one 15.16-second shot, though the box frame suggests an unmeasured scene change.
