Pink-grid AI process explainer
A 14-second technical motion explainer that turns a spoken AI claim into cards, a halftone sphere, and an isometric output diagram.
Field notes / why it works
The claim assembles from a pink label, staggered symbols, and large type before the first cut at 2.58 seconds. Four scenes alternate white and hot pink, while process cards at 5.8 seconds, a sphere at 8.5 seconds, and isometric bars by 12.2 seconds give a fast 39-word narration distinct visual anchors.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A brisk, narrated technical idea becomes four abstract motion-design scenes. It starts with a sparse white grid and a pink label, gathers symbolic marks as the main claim types in, flips to a saturated pink process diagram, then resolves into geometric evidence.
Why it works
- The first 2.6 s makes a claim while a label, four marks, and a large line of type accumulate; motion rewards staying through the sentence.
- The cut at 2.58 s changes the whole field from white grid to pink, renewing attention just after the opening phrase.
- Diagram vocabulary evolves from connected cards at 0:05.5 to a halftone sphere at 0:09.5 and an isometric block field at 0:12.2, so a dense 39-word explanation has visual anchors.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 1280×720, 16:9 · 13.9 s · 23.86 fps source |
| Pace | 4 shots, 3 cuts, 13.0 cuts/min; 1 measured internal step, 17.3 picture changes/min; mean shot 3.47 s |
| Script | 39 spoken words, 171 wpm overall, 193 wpm while speaking; 4 short sentences/phrases, 1 question |
| Voice | One low-register, animated, brisk technical narrator; no visible person |
| On screen | 100% designed motion graphics: white-grid typography, pink process cards, abstract sphere, isometric blocks |
| Captions | No conventional subtitle track; selective on-screen labels and headline type echo key nouns |
| Sound | Continuous tonal/music-like bed measured around 8.6 dB below voice; no sound effects confirmed; −14.9 LUFS integrated |
| Structure | Claim → process cards → human-facing implication → model/output diagram; no CTA or resolved ending in the supplied clip |
