Why it works
The opening frame pairs a direct question with a large ~6 mi answer, while a translucent sector keeps the radar moving across the first 2 seconds. A clear state arrives by about 2.25 seconds, followed by spaced readings near 4.2, 7.2, and 10.2 seconds; the final close reading can loop back to the opening.
