Why it works
The fixed Dock turns changing wallpapers into an instantly readable timeline: 11 cuts and 11 in-shot changes span 12 shots without date cards. The first shot holds 9.85 seconds for recognition, then the modern sequence tightens to 2.83, 2.07, 0.57, and 1.50-second shots before a high-contrast white payoff card at 41.7 seconds. Short centered captions follow the voice while leaving the visual era cues visible.
