Field notes / why it works
The first 3.3 seconds establish a curved-horizon motif, then 27 short shots vary its material, scale and colour while preserving its shape. Three text fragments unfold from 0:08.7 to 0:15.8 across multiple images, and a 4.25-second logo card gives the brand time to register after a measured 87 cuts per minute.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A wordless, 16:9 brand teaser promises exploration through a rapid montage of unfamiliar curved surfaces. The first 9 seconds establish a visual motif; three words unfold across many cuts from 0:08.7 to 0:15.8, then a nearly static logo card supplies the only explicit brand identification.
Why it works
- The opening horizon at 0:00–0:01.2 is quiet and visually ambiguous, creating a curiosity gap before the image sequence accelerates.
- From 0:03.3–0:15.8, most shots hold just 0.28–0.72 seconds. Their curved rims make the 29 hard cuts feel connected despite extreme changes in material and colour.
- A simple three-part line is delayed until 0:08.7, then revealed in clusters through 0:15.8; the 4.25-second end card lets viewers register the brand after the rush.
