Why it works
The one-frame flash at frame 7 turns a bright fragment into a sparse speaking terminal, making the opening claim feel urgent. At frame 558 the film switches to bright documentary mats; the denser proof montage contrasts with the long model holds, and shots 37–38 release that pressure into an isolated mark. Only 4 of 37 cuts follow the tracked beat, so narration and picture changes drive attention.
