Why it works
The first shot stays continuous until frame 134, allowing a calm paired promise before the trip accelerates. The query and reactions in shots 21–43 anchor the visual shifts; shot 77 gives the payoff 390 frames to resolve. Only 18 of 76 cuts land near beats, so picture motion, not the music grid, drives the edit.
