Why it works
The opening holds an intimate exchange until the first cut at 1.38 seconds, then a repeated verbal chain makes every bizarre new world easy to follow. The edit accelerates to five cuts from 0:15–0:20 as color and cast expand, then lets the reunion breathe in 5.01- and 5.46-second shots before a two-second brand reveal at 0:58.
