Claude Code Desktop Reveal
A quiet 20-second desktop feature launch that demonstrates a real task before its title slate names the release.
Field notes / why it works
The app is on screen at 0:00 and a guided push reaches the new mode by about 0:04, giving the viewer product context before any claim. The first replay peak at 0:06.1–0:06.3 coincides with the task workspace reveal; a second at 0:12.0–0:12.2 sits near the environment choice. The 0:13.3 title card names the feature after the UI has shown its use.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A floating desktop app appears immediately; the camera glides from a familiar home screen into a new work mode, shows a task being entered, then exposes a meaningful environment choice. A centered, two-line announcement at 0:13.3 finally names what the viewer has been watching. The product itself carries the story; there is no presenter or conventional caption track.
Why it works
- The screen is present at 0:00, so the viewer sees the product before any claim. A progressive push from whole window to sidebar at 0:02 makes the change legible.
- The most-replayed span, 0:06.1–0:06.3, is when the new task composer and repository context come into view. The viewer can inspect a real workflow, not just a logo.
- The second replay peak, 0:12.0–0:12.2, follows the environment menu shown around 0:10. The 0:13.3 slate names the capability after the demonstration.
