A deadline dash resolved by a ride
A 15-second narrative service ad turns an elevator panic into phone proof, an arrival, and a calm car payoff.
Field notes / why it works
A suited commuter lunges toward an elevator in the first 0.5 seconds, so the deadline stakes are readable before exposition. A phone option appears around 2.2 seconds and an arrival state at 8.1–9.5 seconds, giving two concrete proof beats before the 9.5–14-second car payoff. The one-second black brand card closes a compact story without interrupting it early.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A rushed professional seems to miss their ride or meeting. Another person calmly points to a phone showing a fast alternative; a brief chase and arrival confirmation turn panic into relief, then the brand claims the last second.
Why it works
- The opening starts mid-action: a person lunges across the elevator frame within the first 0.5 seconds, with no setup card.
- The answer becomes tangible on a phone around 2.2 seconds; the app is shown again at 8.1–9.5 seconds with an arrival state.
- The 9.5–14 second car scene resolves the physical scramble, then a stark 1-second black end card leaves the name legible.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 15.0 s · source 640×360, 24 fps |
| Pace | Detector: 5 shots, 4 cuts, 16 cuts/min, 3.01 s average. The hook sheet visibly adds a phone insert near 2.2 s that the detector missed: plan roughly 6 editorial setups / 5 cuts. |
| Script | 45 automatic Mandarin tokens, 208 tokens/min overall and 241 while speaking; transcription has 18 low-confidence tokens and should not be treated as a verbatim script. |
| Voice | Two conversational adult voices (inferred from ad staging), one urgent and one reassuring; quick lines, then a short brand tag. Do not mimic the performers. |
| On screen | Live-action elevator and exterior urgency, two phone close-ups, car interior, graphic end card. |
| Captions | Small white Traditional Chinese subtitles at the lower center; larger white message in the car. |
| Sound | Continuous tonal, music-like bed in the measurements; cut accents suggested by loudness jumps. Exact instrumentation is unverified. |
| Structure | Panic → early product option → attempt/race → arrival proof → relief → brand. Payoff around 9.5 s, brand at 14 s. |
