Field notes / why it works

The opening reveals a short promise one word at a time, then flips red and cream for the giant NEW/ERA payoff at 0:02–0:03. A dense wordmark cascade resolves into a small centered mark at 0:19–0:20, exactly where the strongest replay peak falls. From 0:21 onward, cups, bags, food, screens, billboards, store and staff show the identity working beyond a title card.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A music-led brand reveal makes a short verbal promise through giant, sequential type, unveils a new identity around 0:19–0:20, then proves the identity can live on packaging, food, outdoor media, screens, and people. It sells a system by moving from flat graphics to tangible use, rather than explaining design decisions aloud.

Why it works

  • The opening withholds each word: on solid red, “It’s” appears at 0:00.25, and the large cream/red NEW/ERA cards arrive at 0:02–0:03. The viewer has to keep reading to complete the promise.
  • The 0:18.8–0:20.4 typographic cascade resolves into a compact identity mark. The 0:19.3–0:20.2 replay peak lands directly on that reveal.
  • From 0:20.8, real applications replace abstract type: cup, bag, wrapper, food, outdoor boards, social layouts, store, and uniform. The progression makes the redesign feel usable at scale.

ScriptOn-screen campaign copy, not narration; no reliable spoken script or spoken WPM. The lone detected “Oh” near 0:44.6 is too little to count as voiceover.
VoiceNone; text acts as the voice. A person appears near 1:11 but the film is not presenter-led.
On screenApprox. first quarter kinetic type and logo; middle product/food/identity applications; later campaign placements and a brief human/store proof section. These shares are inferred from the contact sheets.
CaptionsNo subtitles. Oversized, centered headline cards and words embedded in imagery; many cards have just one word.
SoundContinuous music-like bed (inferred), rough tempo 96 BPM at low confidence; no clearly measured effect on every cut. Integrated −11.8 LUFS; source true peak +2.6 dBFS.
Structure5 phases: typographic promise → mark reveal → applications → campaign scale → closing brand mark; no spoken CTA.
