Go1 Companion Robot Capability Film
A music-led robot launch film that escalates from running and jumps to credible everyday following, errands, and companionship.
Field notes / why it works
The product is already moving by 0:00.25, then the name appears around 0:02, so the promise is visual before it becomes verbal. A brisk 0:06–0:35 sequence escalates from jogging to speed and obstacle tests; the 0:32–0:33 platform and human interaction coincide with the strongest replay peak. Longer scenes after 0:35 show following, carrying, route use, avoidance and shopping, making the capability feel useful beyond the test course.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, music-led launch film introduces a mobile physical product through a rendered beauty shot, then shows it keeping up with a person, completing progressively harder physical tasks, and fitting into ordinary errands. Sparse labels name capabilities while the footage supplies proof.
Why it works
- The opening shows the product moving by 0:00.25 and reveals its model name around 0:02, establishing the object before any explanation.
- The first 35 s climb from side-by-side running (0:06) to speed tests (0:14–0:22), jumps (0:22–0:31), a platform step (0:31–0:33), and human interaction (0:33–0:35). The platform and interaction overlap the strongest replay peak, 0:32.0–0:33.3.
- Later scenes translate technical claims into use: following past a car (0:50–0:55), a vending machine (1:02–1:14), a park (1:15–1:34), and shopping (1:49–1:56).

| Reference specification | |
|---|---|
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 2:07 · analysed at 640 × 360, 30 fps |
| Pace | 34 shots; 33 confirmed cuts; 15.6–25.0 possible cuts/min, including uncertain motion changes; 17.9 confirmed picture changes/min; mean 3.74 s, median 2.49 s per shot |
| Script | No credible spoken script. The five transcribed words are low confidence music/noise detections; use short on-screen capability labels. |
| Voice | None; people are action demonstrators, not presenters. |
| On screen | Mostly live-action product footage; a brief white-background 3D/product render opens, with occasional technical text and UI overlays. |
| Captions | No speech captions. Small white feature labels near the top; occasional white centered claims and cyan technical marks. |
| Sound | Continuous tonal, music-like bed; estimated 156 BPM or half-time (inferred). No reliable speech or consistent cut effects. −11.8 LUFS integrated, measured true peak +0.9 dBFS. |
| Structure | Product reveal → companion running → athletic tests → human interaction → side-following and portability → everyday environments → calm closing tableau; no visible CTA or end card in the supplied sheets. |
