Field notes / why it works

A tiny figure facing a giant shoe by 0:02.3 creates an immediate scale mystery, and the campaign title at 0:08 turns the unrelated scenes into a clear invitation. Sixty shots across 57.8 seconds keep changing genre and palette, while the deadline and URL gain clarity by staying fixed over the fastest cuts at 0:50–0:55.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A horizontal announcement disguised as a fast anthology trailer. It opens on an impossible image, names the invitation around 0:08, then jumps through many apparently unrelated shows before the contest deadline and destination appear at 0:50–0:55. The promise is imaginative range: {{PRODUCT}} lets {{AUDIENCE}} bring {{TOPIC}} ideas to life.

Why it works

  • The first image is a tiny figure running through a normal school corridor; a giant shoe confronts him by 0:01.5–0:02.3. The scale trick poses a story question before the brand appears.
  • At 0:08.2, a huge headline over a pufferfish explains why the scattered scenes belong together. That delayed reveal turns confusion into a creative challenge.
  • The reel sustains about 60 shots in 57.8 s, with major shifts from live action to animation, fantasy, action, and science fiction. Deadline and URL overlays arrive only after the proof montage, at 0:50–0:55.
