LCD Cooler Feature Ladder
A music-led hardware launch that turns an LCD cooler from a customizable screen into a measurable cooling system.
Field notes / why it works
The LCD demonstrates three uses by 0:09.1, then the film moves from customization (0:21) to display specs (0:30), live telemetry (0:36), and physical cooling proof (0:49). Its 18 shots contain additional screen and text swaps for 26.9 picture changes per minute, while the 10.6-second final system shot gives the product time to register.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A dark, music-led hardware launch film reveals a small display, then proves that the product is both personal and useful. It moves from playful screen content to measurable system readouts, then to the physical cooling hardware and a full-system hero shot. Short uppercase claims identify each benefit while the product itself stays on screen.
Why it works
- The opening waits until 0:00.75 for the white logo to emerge from black; that restrained reveal sets a premium tone without a spoken introduction.
- At 0:07.9–0:09.1 the LCD changes from a pump readout to temperature and then a reaction image. Three uses become visible before any feature list.
- The evidence ladder remains concrete: software customization at 0:21–0:29, screen specification at 0:30–0:35, live readings at 0:36–0:42, cooling parts at 0:49–1:07, and a complete system at 1:07–1:18.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 78.0 s · source analysis at 640×360, 25 fps |
| Pace | 18 shots; 17 measured cuts; 13.1–16.1 cuts/min allowing uncertain changes; 26.9 picture changes/min including overlays; mean shot 4.34 s, median 3.2 s |
| Script | No reliable spoken narration; the two transcript tokens appear to be music recognition errors. Sparse on-screen feature claims, usually 2–5 words. |
| Voice | None |
| On screen | Product macro and installed-system footage dominate; brief software composite, fan component graphic, radiator-size graphic, and end card. No presenter. |
| Captions | No speech subtitles. Uppercase white feature labels, mostly bottom center or left of a product render. |
| Sound | Continuous tonal, electronic music-like bed; roughly 150 BPM by measurement. −12.9 LUFS integrated; source true peak +0.6 dBFS. Distinct cut effects are unconfirmed. |
| Structure | Seven beats: logo tease → LCD possibilities → customization → display quality → telemetry → cooling hardware and sizes → branded system hero. No in-video spoken CTA. |
