Field notes / why it works

The opening turns illuminated controls into a slow visual reveal, with the first spoken word at 2.64 seconds and no cut until 6.59 seconds. Short labels then tie each claim to the instrument itself: sequencing at 0:08, control at 0:12, 96 voices at 0:19, and 4 GB at 0:27. The strongest replay window, 0:26.8–0:27.3, coincides with the move into that second concrete specification.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A compact 16:9 launch film introduces a physical creative tool through dramatic macro footage, an animated electronic music bed, and a brisk announcer. It moves from the product's signature capability to tactile controls, then piles up measurable upgrades before giving the viewer a clean full-product look and logo close.

Why it works

  • The first second reveals only illuminated controls in darkness; the voice begins at 2.64 seconds, creating a brief visual and musical lead-in before the product is named.
  • Each claim has an object to inspect: a sequencer display at 0:08, hands-on controls at 0:12, a voice-count graphic at 0:19, a preset screen at 0:22, and the sample-space label at 0:27.
  • The replay peaks at 0:26.8–0:27.3, as the film switches from whole-instrument beauty shots to the concrete 4 GB sample-space claim. This suggests viewers revisit specifications; it does not prove why any individual replayed.
