Field notes / why it works

The first frame establishes the loaded hill-climb use case, then a glass-break stunt lands at about 0:01.75. Distinct proof settings keep renewing the premise: rubble at 0:33, human-scale load at 0:55, cargo at 1:36, and a 3h 8min / 12.55KM run at 2:00.8. The most-replayed 2:01.9–2:03.2 window reveals a wheeled configuration just before the logo.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A two-minute, almost speechless product launch film makes a physical capability feel credible through escalating field tests. It opens on a loaded machine climbing a dirt bank, interrupts that image with a glass-breaking stunt within two seconds, then builds from rough terrain to stairs, cargo, slope, distance, and a final alternate configuration.

Why it works

  • The product and its promise are legible immediately: a red pack sits on the robot on a steep bank at 0:00; the glass break starts at about 0:01.75.
  • Every new setting supplies a different proof condition: rubble at 0:33–0:52, a person standing on it at 0:55, steps at 1:19, cargo at 1:36, and a road run at 1:51–2:01.
  • The close returns to exact outcomes: the run is labelled 3h 8min / 12.55KM at 2:00.8; the most-replayed window, 2:01.9–2:03.2, introduces a wheeled configuration.

Platform · aspect · lengthYouTube · 16:9 · 126.9 s · source measured at 640×360, 25 fps
Pace23 detected shots; 22 cuts; 10.4 confirmed cuts/min; 5.52 s mean, 5.34 s median. Fast motion creates many uncertain apparent changes, so perceived pace can be much faster.
ScriptNo explanatory narration. Automated transcript estimates 14 brief words, 15 wpm across the full film, but seven are low confidence and punctuation is misread as speech.
VoicePossible incidental human shouts in the opening/early tests; no presenter or directed voiceover.
On screenAbout 90%+ live-action product tests (inferred from sheets); a short black-background 3D product configuration at 2:01.6; brand end card at 2:05.4.
CaptionsNo running captions. Minimal white technical labels and metrics; one large opening title.
SoundContinuous tonal, music-like bed; approximate beat 101 BPM (low-confidence estimate). No consistent cut-hit pattern. Integrated −13.9 LUFS; measured true peak +0.8 dBFS.
StructureTitle/stunt → terrain and stability → load and obstacle tests → mobility and endurance → variant reveal → logo. No spoken CTA.
