From Search Visibility to Store Growth
A 41-second SEO ad turns an awkward search result into a visual customer case study with escalating proof cards.
Field notes / why it works
A typed awkward query becomes a search result by 0:01.7, creating a concrete joke before the business pivot at about 0:06. Site and search evidence from 0:07–0:25 makes the large traffic and growth cards at 0:25–0:35 feel earned; the single URL then gets a clear 3.6-second hold.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A familiar search bar starts with a query whose results are comically undesirable. The narrator then pivots to a small business, showing a site, relevant search terms and image results before escalating to large traffic and growth figures. The promise to business owners becomes clear at about 0:06; the product's role is implied through the case study and resolved with a branded URL at 0:37.
Why it works
- The opening makes an abstract SEO claim concrete: a typed query at 0:00–0:01.5 becomes an embarrassing video result by 0:01.7, then the narrator reverses its meaning at 0:06.
- The proof changes form before attention stalls: search results at 0:01.7, a site gallery at 0:07, the example storefront at 0:09.4, statistics from 0:15.9, and image results at 0:23.5.
- Numbers grow in scale and simplicity: a search volume card at 0:15.9, a large monthly traffic figure at 0:25.6, and a growth percentage at 0:30.3; the URL follows at 0:37.4.
