Field notes / why it works

The first 3 seconds turn a weight macro into visible exertion before speech begins at 0:04.4, creating a clear visual hook. Thirty-seven shots in 34.1 seconds keep the action urgent, while green keyword and clock cards around 0:08–0:11 reset attention. Early shoe flashes around 0:04 and 0:11 make the held product card at 0:31 feel earned.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A vertical launch film opens on tactile athletic exertion before revealing a shoe. A low, energized first-person voice and near-continuous music carry a rapid collage of training, play, ominous creature imagery, analog monitor footage, and electric-green clock graphics toward a final product/date card. The promise is emotional—this athlete and product have force—then the last three seconds deliver the specific launch identity.

Why it works

  • The hook begins inside action: equipment fills 0:00–0:00.6, then an athlete strains beneath it through 0:03; the first spoken word waits until 0:04.4.
  • The edit changes shots every 0.92 s on average (37 shots, 63.4 measured cuts/min), with interruptions such as an “ATTENTION” card around 0:08.4 and a digital 12:12 clock around 0:10.3.
  • Product flashes appear early around 0:04 and 0:11.5, while the full shoe, claim, and launch numeral resolve on the 0:29.2–0:32.7 card.
