A breathing circle over a moving creek
A silent 52-second guided-breathing loop uses a scaling gradient disc over one continuous creek shot, then lets the scene breathe alone.
Field notes / why it works
The instruction and animated circle are present at 0:00, so viewers can join without setup. One moving creek shot and roughly 3–4-second breathing phases hold a consistent, low-distraction rhythm across 52 seconds; the circle's fade around 0:48 gives the exercise a gentle finish, near the 0:46.6–0:47.2 replay peak.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A quiet, unbroken nature shot carries a centered gradient disc that expands and contracts as a visual breathing guide. Three small prompts cue inhale, hold, and exhale without a narrator. The immediate promise is a brief, usable moment of calm: the exercise begins at 0:00.
Why it works
- The viewer can join at once: the large disc and “breathe in” cue occupy frame one, with no introduction.
- A predictable inhale / hold / exhale cycle creates participation across the 52-second uncut shot; the blue-purple disc changes size against continuous moving water.
- Near 0:48 the disc fades away, returning attention to the river; the strongest measured replay peak is 0:46.6–0:47.2, just before that release.
