Field notes / why it works

The first word lands at 0:00 over a glowing logo reveal, so the subject is clear before the first cut at 0:04.6. A familiar comparison at 0:12 leads to row-versus-column diagrams at 0:33–0:55, then the editor demo at 1:21 turns the explanation into a usable workflow. The strongest replay point, 1:28.7–1:30.1, coincides with moving from a query to a CSV file.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A low-register narrator defines a technical product immediately, makes it understandable through a familiar comparison, then shows why its architecture matters and how to use it. Dark graphic cards, literal diagrams, brief stock/live-action inserts, and a late editor demo carry a dense 2:22 explanation.

Why it works

  • The first three seconds pair a luminous logo build with a spoken definition; the promise starts at 0:00, before a cut.
  • The comparison arrives at 0:12, then row-wise versus column-wise graphics at 0:33–0:55 turn an abstract design choice into a visible one.
  • A concrete file-and-query demo begins at 1:21; the replay peak at 1:28.7–1:30.1 falls on the move from a query to a CSV file, suggesting viewers revisit the practical step (inferred).
