A Road Trip Planned on Screen
A silent cinematic feature film that proves trip planning through real travel, in-car UI and a rapid destination montage.
Field notes / why it works
The first 2 seconds make the use case clear with people loading a vehicle, then name the feature without narration. A hand setting a destination at 0:05.5 turns the promise into proof, and the film keeps alternating travel, service actions and readable UI through 0:45.6. Seven road shots in about 2.6 seconds deliver a vivid payoff before the 3.3-second URL card.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, cinematic feature tour follows people preparing for a trip, setting a destination in the product, travelling, using a supporting service, and reaching an open-road promise. Minimal white text names each benefit while footage proves it with an interface or a lived moment. The promise is visible by 0:02: this product makes a long journey feel easy.
Why it works
- The opening puts a family and luggage beside an open vehicle before naming the feature at 0:02; context arrives through action, without explanation.
- The most replayed peak is 0:04.7–0:05.2, the handoff from departure footage to the destination screen, where the film becomes a usable product demonstration.
- Route, charging, arrival time and amenities each get a distinct picture from 0:05.5–0:43.9. Seven road shots in about 2.6 seconds at 0:45.6–0:48.2 turn the last benefit into an energetic finish.
