Flow 2 in Motion
A music-led gimbal launch film that pairs short feature cards with real-world capture proof and phone UI.
Field notes / why it works
The dark mechanical reveal at 0:00–0:08 creates curiosity before the product becomes clear, while 50 shots keep the 2:16 film moving. Feature headlines are backed by visible proof: a stabilization comparison at 0:19.8, tracking UI around 0:46–0:54, and a family result at 1:13–1:15; that family moment overlaps the strongest replay peak.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A polished, music-led 16:9 launch film reveals a physical product, then turns each feature into a tiny visual test. Short, bold headlines name the benefit while lifestyle footage and app views show what it does; a clean product card closes the sequence.
Why it works
- The first 2.4 seconds withhold a full view: dark, moving mechanical close-ups and a small logo create a reveal before the bright benefit cards.
- The edit alternates white studio explanations with real-world proof: a side-by-side stability comparison at 0:19.8, tracking UI at 0:46–0:54, and a family result at 1:13–1:15.
- Replay peaks at 1:14–1:15, 1:25–1:26, and 1:35–1:36 align with an emotionally clear family shot and the cinematic zoom example. The peak is a viewing signal, not proof of why each person replayed.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 136.8 s · source measurement 640×360 at 30 fps |
| Pace | 50 detected shots, 49 cuts; 21.5–37.3 possible cuts/min including uncertain changes; median shot 2.38 s, mean 2.74 s; 22.8 confirmed picture changes/min |
| Script | Primarily sung music, not explanatory narration. Rough transcript has 170 detected words, many low-confidence lyrics. One brief natural spoken line near 1:02.4. Benefit cards carry the product story. |
| Voice | Energetic sung vocal; brief casual, conversational voice in a cooking scene. No persistent narrator. |
| On screen | Approx. 35% product renders and macro footage, 45% lifestyle demonstration, 20% app/comparison views and graphic cards (inferred from sheets). |
| Captions | No sentence subtitles; white or black bold keyword headlines, usually 2–5 words, placed on clean space above or beside the subject. |
| Sound | Upbeat vocal pop/hip-hop bed; little evidence of systematic cut SFX. Measured −8.3 LUFS integrated and +1.0 dBFS true peak. |
| Structure | Mystery reveal → setup → stabilization → tracking → audio/group proof → creative modes → product summary → use-case montage and end CTA. |
