From Typing to Voice

A cinematic voice-input launch film moves through phone typing history, everyday friction, real UI proof and a quiet brand finish.

Field notes / why it works

A 0:00–0:16 device timeline makes the old habit recognizable before the film names the frustration at 0:19.5; the shift to a seated human user overlaps the strongest replay peak at 0:18.2–0:18.9. The product appears at 0:27.8, then email, messaging and voice-input shots from 0:35–1:03.7 turn the benefit into visible proof. A moderate 23-shot rhythm leaves room for a seven-second reveal card and a quiet final claim.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A 70-second, 16:9 product announcement tells a miniature history of a familiar input method, exposes its persistent friction, and reveals voice input as the next step. It alternates spare graphic design, close interface details and a relatable person using a phone; the feature is proved through specific communication situations before a short brand end card.

Why it works

  • The first 16 seconds turn obsolete phones and keyboards into a visual timeline, so the eventual change has context rather than arriving as a feature list.
  • At 0:17.7–0:27.8, the film narrows from broad history to the daily cost of typing; this includes the most-replayed window, 0:18.2–0:18.9.
  • The reveal at 0:27.8 is followed by interface examples at 0:35–1:03.7, including a voice-input close-up at 1:00, so the claim has visual proof.
