A Small Build Becomes a Whole LEGO City
A wordless game announcement that grows from one build to an aerial city reveal before a clean title card.
Field notes / why it works
The 0:00–0:01.7 red brand bumper gives way to an airy sky, then the first character and build appear by about 0:16. Scale increases from one house to busy streets and a full island at 0:35; that aerial coincides with the strongest replay peak at 0:35.6–0:36.1. The product name and wishlist path wait until the viewer has seen the payoff at 0:38–0:43.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A wordless, landscape product announcement begins with a short brand cue, opens onto a spacious world, shows one character and a first act of creation, then accelerates through increasingly populated scenes. The promise becomes concrete around 0:16 with a buildable house and reaches its payoff at 0:35 with an entire island city. The final five seconds give the product name and shopping path.
Why it works
- The opening delays the title: a red platform bumper occupies 0:00–0:01.7, then blue sky and clouds create room for discovery until the character appears around 0:10.
- The visual scale grows from one house at 0:16–0:20 to neighborhood streets at 0:23–0:27, an active city at 0:28–0:33, and a whole island at 0:35. The viewer can infer the product loop without narration.
- The most replayed span, 0:35.6–0:36.1, sits on the widest city reveal. A second replay peak at 0:29.9–0:30.4 coincides with the busy street and emergency vehicle sequence.

| Pace | Detector: 4 shots, 3 certain cuts, 4.2 cuts/min, mean 10.76 s. There are 23 uncertain changes during moving gameplay, so the plausible cut range is 4.2–36.3/min. Seven confirmed internal changes give 13.9 measured picture changes/min including cuts. |
| Script | No reliable spoken script. The automatic transcript contains five low-confidence Chinese tokens that do not establish narration. Plan for zero spoken words. |
| Voice | None verified; story carried by image and music. |
| On screen | Brief graphic bumper and end card; otherwise animated/gameplay world footage: sky establishing, character medium shot, house/build interface, neighborhood, street action, aerial city. |
| Captions | None. Only brand, rating, product and shopping graphics appear. |
| Sound | Continuous tonal, music-like bed measured near −19 LUFS integrated. Approximate 80 BPM tempo is low confidence; effects are not separately verified. |
| Structure | Five beats: identity, atmosphere, first action, escalation, aerial payoff and title/CTA. |
