Field notes / why it works

The 10.84-second opening sequence changes picture at 2.2, 6.2, 8.2 and 10.0 seconds, building curiosity before a rapid inside/outside exchange begins at 0:10.8. A laptop shows the product around 0:08.5, while the short exterior claim arrives around 0:27.7 and a seven-second silent reaction lets the joke land.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A small, believable pub is interrupted by a visitor outside the window. A website on a laptop appears amid the characters' confusion; the brand's promise is delivered as a single line over an exterior view, followed by a wordless reaction. The viewer waits through a long, quiet setup because something visually odd is approaching the ordinary place.

Why it works

  • The first measured segment runs 10.84 s, but the picture changes at 2.2, 6.2, 8.2 and 10.0 s; the opening moves among the room, window and laptop before the visitor exchange.
  • The middle accelerates: eight of the next nine shots last about 1–2.4 s, cutting between the stranger and the patrons from 0:11–0:25.
  • The product proof appears on the laptop around 0:08.5, while the payoff waits until the exterior and short claim around 0:27.7; the final 7 s return to the quiet room.
