The Missing Foldables Mystery
A cinematic phone launch uses a detective mystery to turn five feature demonstrations into suspect reveals and reversals.
Field notes / why it works
The cloud title turns a routine product introduction into a missing-device question by 0:02.5, then each suspect chapter makes a feature demo part of the investigation (0:27–4:01). After the planted-clue reversal at 4:01–4:21, a stark black-to-white shift gives the devices a clear payoff; the 4:35.5–4:38.4 paired-device reveal is the top replayed moment.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A theatrical missing-product mystery turns the feature list into suspects. A detective archetype investigates; each accusation triggers a demonstration, then new evidence clears that suspect and moves to another feature. The hidden culprit is revealed just before a clean product beauty shot.
Why it works
- A storm-cloud title changes from an introduction to a missing-object premise by 0:02.5; the spoken mystery arrives around 0:15.
- Feature sequences have a plot reason: search and multitasking at 0:27–0:57, processor/gaming at 0:57–1:48, camera at 1:48–2:40, translation/replies at 2:40–3:19, notes at 3:19–4:01.
- The reversal around 4:01–4:15 pays off the investigation, while the clean paired-device reveal around 4:36–4:40 is the top replayed span (4:35.5–4:38.4).
