Field notes / why it works

The product reveal and first concrete specification arrive at 0:08.4–0:08.7, overlapping the strongest replay peak. Eight in-shot picture changes match the spoken feature tour without a frantic edit; close views of controls, ports, and the companion display make a 144-word explanation tangible. Another replay peak at 0:53.5–0:54.2 coincides with the companion-display payoff.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A calm studio presenter introduces a compact physical product, then the video tours its capabilities through clean, isolated views on a single grey field. The promise is a useful first orientation: what it is, what its main controls do, and how it connects to the viewer's existing setup. Speech supplies the explanation while the picture moves from whole object to individual features and back to the complete system.

Why it works

  • A two-second mark-only opening creates visual contrast with the human introduction at 0:02; the product and its purpose arrive around 0:08.4–0:08.7, the strongest replayed moment (0:08.2–0:08.8).
  • Specific numbers and matching pictures make a dense feature list easy to track: the 16-track claim at 0:08.7, eight-track detail around 0:16, and four coloured dials around 0:22.
  • The close-up progression moves from input/output details at 0:30–0:43 to a phone/display use case at 0:50.6; another replay peak falls at 0:53.5–0:54.2.
