Dog Mode in Action
A 28-second live-action feature film makes a pet-comfort setting tangible through a dog reveal, one control action, and a public status display.
Field notes / why it works
The dog rises into the car window as feature labels change, with the name landing by 0:02 before the first cut at 0:02.9. A control close-up at 0:09–0:11 and a readable 67 °F status display at 0:18–0:21 provide concrete proof; both coincide with replay peaks near 0:10 and 0:20. The dog returns for an emotional close at 0:21–0:25 before a sparse logo card.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A short live-action product feature film opens on a charming beneficiary peeking into view, names the feature by 0:02, then shows what the user sets and what the beneficiary experiences. A legible status display near 0:20 answers the viewer's practical worry; the beneficiary and logo close the film.
Why it works
- The window-lowering dog reveal and changing feature labels turn the first 2.9 seconds into a visual discovery before any explanation.
- The film demonstrates both sides of the feature: a human sets the cabin at 0:08–0:11, then the dog rests inside at 0:15–0:18.
- The external-facing status screen at 0:19–0:21 is the clearest proof and a most-replayed point at 0:20.0–0:20.3. Another replay peak at 0:09.9–0:10.2 lands on the setting control.
