Music-led collectible controller reveal
A 25-second collaboration launch film that moves from illuminated product macros to a human presentation and clean offer card.
Field notes / why it works
A shadowed macro makes the custom artwork legible by about 0:02, then the collaboration mark at 0:05.6 identifies the partnership. Five quick presentation shots from 0:13.6 to 0:16.8 lead into the most-replayed smiling turn at 0:16.4–0:16.6, while a 3.4-second white packshot makes the limited-edition product name easy to read.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A music-led launch film turns a custom physical object into a reveal: start on its most intriguing detail, reveal the collaboration mark, then alternate object beauty shots with a charismatic collaborator using and presenting it. A clean card identifies the limited-edition product at the end.
Why it works
- The eye illustration on the controller appears by 0:01, before any explanatory text; its unusual detail creates a visual question.
- The collaboration mark at 0:05.6 answers who made it, then the person and product share the frame from 0:06.8 onward.
- Cuts accelerate into five short shots from 0:13.6 to 0:16.8; the most-replayed point is 0:16.4–0:16.6, during the smiling turn with the controller.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 25.0 s; measured source 640×360 at 23.98 fps |
| Pace | 16 detected shots, 15 cuts, 36 cuts/min; 36–55 cuts/min if all eight uncertain visual changes are cuts; mean shot 1.56 s, median 1.17 s |
| Script | No spoken script or subtitles. Automated transcript likely misidentifies sung lyrics; do not use its 44 words or 114 WPM as narration metrics. |
| Voice | High-register sung vocal within a pop track; no audible speaking established by the supplied evidence |
| On screen | Approx. 54% product close-up/packshot, 30% collaborator with product, 16% logo/brand cards, estimated from shot durations and sampled frames |
| Captions | None; only collaboration and end-card product lettering |
| Sound | Music-forward pop bed with a vocal hook; measured −14.0 LUFS integrated, −2.7 dBFS true peak; no clear cut-synced effects |
| Structure | Brand flash → design detail → collaborator mark → person/product alternation → gesture payoff → product card → brand sting |
