A Spark From Screen to Pitch
A cinematic football campaign that delays its spoken promise, then shifts from dark mystery to yellow-accented action and a minimal end card.
Field notes / why it works
The first shot holds for 3.0 seconds on a silhouetted viewer and glowing screen, withholding the spoken premise until 0:16. The daylight reveal leads into 38 shots overall, while a long cool-blue pause around 0:38–0:45 breaks the action rhythm; the highest replay point is 0:42.0–0:42.6. Two brief yellow-on-black title states at 0:55–0:57 make the final idea easy to retain.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A child watches a glowing screen, then the film moves through a dark, almost secretive room into bright football action. A sparse, teasing narrator delays the explicit promise until 0:16; bursts of play and striking portraits carry the message before a two-stage, yellow-on-black slogan closes it. The transferable engine is visual mystery → proof in motion → provocative pause → kinetic climax → short imperative.
Why it works
- The first three seconds hold a rear-view silhouette, a television, and a glimpse of yellow footwear without speech; the unanswered relationship between them opens a visual question.
- The daylight reveal at 0:16.4 lands with the first sentence, then the cut rate rises: 5 cuts in each of 0:25–0:30 and 0:30–0:35.
- The measured replay peak at 0:42.0–0:42.6 falls in a long, cool-blue room sequence with a raised object and a close reaction, after the rapid sports run.
