The steady point: a physical stability ad
A playful live-action motion test makes a vehicle comfort benefit visible before a restrained product reveal.
Field notes / why it works
The near-black opening and close-up at 0:00–0:03 make an odd subject impossible to ignore; the first replay peak is at 0:04.2–0:04.7. A wider test by 0:08.6 shows a fixed point amid motion, then repeated angles through 0:35 let viewers infer the benefit before the two-line claim arrives around 0:38.9.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A strange, close-up subject creates a question; a wider physical demonstration answers it without narration. Repeated motion makes a stable point obvious, then a short product line names the benefit. Here the promise is initially visual at 0:00–0:03 and becomes explicit in the text at about 0:38.9.
Why it works
- The 0:00 black-to-face opening gives almost no context, creating a curiosity gap before the apparatus appears around 0:08.6.
- The head/body contrast is visible repeatedly from 0:08.6 through 0:35; the viewer understands the benefit before seeing product copy.
- The YouTube replay peak at 0:04.2–0:04.7 lands on the bird's side-profile reveal, and a second peak at 0:34.3–0:34.8 lands amid the fuller demonstration.

|---|---|
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 640×360 source · 46.7 s at 25 fps |
| Pace | The detector reports 1 shot, 0 hard cuts/min and 8 internal picture changes (10.3/min). The sheet plainly shows several distinct setups, so use about 8–10 setups and 9–12 visible transitions as a visual estimate, not a measured cut count. |
| Script | No reliable spoken script. The five-word automated transcript is likely music/noise misrecognized as speech; use no narrator. A two-line on-screen product claim arrives near 0:38.9. |
| Voice | None required; no identifiable spoken presenter or character. |
| On screen | Nearly all live-action demonstration: animal close-ups, wider handler/prop shots and a multi-subject finish. |
| Captions | No running subtitles. Small white brand mark upper right; restrained white serif benefit line near the upper left at the payoff. |
| Sound | Continuous tonal, rhythmic bed; measured rough beat about 110 BPM. No evidenced dialogue or cut-synchronized effects. |
| Structure | Mystery → show apparatus → vary the test → state benefit → sensory finish; no in-video spoken CTA. |
