New Arrival, Reassuring Ride
A quiet night-arrival story turns one app choice into a reassuring human encounter before revealing the feature.
Field notes / why it works
The first three seconds establish an uncertain newcomer without text, giving the viewer a simple visual question. A readable phone choice near 0:10 answers it, while the driver-passenger exchange around 0:20–0:25 supplies emotional proof. The benefit appears as a clean closing claim at 0:26.2, after the story has made it meaningful.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A new arrival crosses a crowded night transit space, encounters a small moment of uncertainty, uses a phone feature, and finds a reassuring person in the resulting ride. The product benefit is demonstrated through a human exchange before a single closing card states it plainly at 0:26.2.
Why it works
- The first three seconds stay with one person moving through a confusing station; no narration or title explains the situation. That in medias res opening makes the viewer infer the need.
- A clear phone choice at about 0:09.9 turns an emotional problem into a specific action; the story then tests that choice in the car.
- A roughly four-second end card at 0:26.2 gives the feature claim after the reassuring conversation, so the claim has visual proof behind it.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 640 × 360 source · 23.98 fps · 30.0 s |
| Pace | 3 detected shot segments, 2 cuts (4/min), plus 7 changes inside segments: 9 picture changes total (18/min). Detected segments average 10.01 s; many distinct camera views appear within the long final segment. |
| Script | 31 transcribed words; 93 wpm across the whole film, about 270 wpm during speech; seven short utterances, including three questions. Some transcript words are low confidence. |
| Voice | Two conversational women: a tentative younger passenger and a calm, welcoming driver (inferred from images and dialogue). No narrator. |
| On screen | Live-action night station and car scenes dominate; a brief phone UI insert around 0:09.9; a black type card from 0:26.2. |
| Captions | No dialogue subtitles or keyword captions. The product claim appears only on the end card. |
| Sound | Dialogue over a continuous, music-like bed with location ambience (bed classification is measured; the exact instrumentation is uncertain). −17.1 LUFS integrated; measured true peak +0.1 dBFS. |
| Structure | Arrival → need → product action → encounter → reassurance → claim. Product action near 0:10; spoken emotional payoff around 0:23.4; feature card at 0:26.2. |
