DJI RS 5 Feature-to-Proof Launch Film
A polished gimbal launch film that pairs tactile feature close-ups with cinematic use-case proof and a long music-led action passage.
Field notes / why it works
The product is visible and moving in the opening 2.5 seconds, then 75 shots repeatedly connect a physical control to its filmed result. Tiny feature labels and verified numbers make the claims specific without covering the footage; the 1:05–1:22 narration break gives the action room to prove the pitch. The replay peak at 2:03–2:05 centers on a transmitter-to-monitor demonstration, consistent with viewers inspecting the workflow.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A premium, horizontal product reveal moves from a hero silhouette to a sequence of feature demonstrations. Each narrated benefit is shown twice: an intimate view of the control or mechanism, then a cinematic view of what it lets the user do. A long, speech-free action passage at 1:05–1:22 lets the result carry the pitch.
Why it works
- The product is recognizable before explanation: a sunset silhouette fills 0:00–0:02.5; the name lands over fast detail shots by 0:05.
- The 75-shot edit pairs precise numbers with visible proof: tracking UI around 0:50–0:57, then 50% torque and motion at 0:24–0:29.
- The voice drops out for 16.7 seconds after 1:05 while car and operator footage expands the scale; the top replay window at 2:03–2:05 returns to an ecosystem device and monitor.
