A wordless 47-second launch film unveils three console variants through lunar product shots and a long final lineup.
Field notes / why it works
The first 10 seconds use six cuts to turn a logo glint and abstract material details into a visual mystery. Separate model reveals around 0:12, 0:24 and 0:28 set up the 0:34 three-product tableau, which holds nearly six seconds and coincides with the strongest replay peak at 0:34.6–0:35.0. Sparse type keeps the products readable while the music carries momentum without narration.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A wordless, cinematic product announcement turns three related objects into a destination. A branded glint at 0:00 becomes a mysterious journey across a monochrome landscape; individual reveals at 0:12, 0:24 and 0:28 culminate in the three-object tableau at 0:34.
Why it works
- The opening gives a recognizable mark by 0:00.75, then withholds the full products for about 12 seconds.
- Different silhouettes and detail views make each of the three variants legible before the group shot at 0:34; that group shot is also the largest replay peak, 0:34.6–0:35.0.
- Very little copy interrupts the objects: small variant cards around 0:22 and 0:31, then labels beneath the trio. The payoff is visual.
