Field notes / why it works

A 0.12-second black lead-in gives way to an intimate face and a recurring red object, while the first spoken request waits until 0:03. Eight distinct settings between 0:00 and 0:37 imply a broad range of uses without showing an interface; the reply arrives only around 0:37. Sparse black cards spend the last 12 seconds making the launch date and brand memorable.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A cinematic 16:9 teaser shows different people speaking short, practical requests to the same small, vividly coloured object. For roughly 34 seconds, the audience hears what they want without seeing an interface or an answer; a short collective reply resolves the pattern, then a black date card names the launch. The promise is implicit from 0:03: this unseen companion can help across many parts of daily life.

Why it works

  • The first frame is black for only 0.12 seconds; a quiet face and a conspicuous red object create curiosity before the first spoken request at 0:03.
  • Eight situations across 0:00–0:37 broaden the imagined use case, while the object unifies the cuts. The pace is measured at 10 shots and 11 cuts/minute.
  • The answer arrives at about 0:37 after 34 seconds of requests. The remaining 12 seconds give the date and brand room to register.
