Field notes / why it works

The opening holds an unusual moving POV for 3.5 seconds while the product title appears, then 26 confirmed cuts move through social use, keyboard and screen proof, and outdoor flexibility. A sharp slowdown at 0:39.4 gives the product lineup and brand room to register; the 0:47 logo moment is the most replayed, though end-of-video behavior may contribute.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A 48-second, widescreen launch film introduces a tablet keyboard case as a prop that moves with several lifestyles. It starts with a strange through-the-objects POV and a product title, cycles through fun, focus and leisure, then slows to a clean product lineup and brand slate. The promise is visible at 0:00–0:01 through the title and repeated in use through 0:04–0:39.

Why it works

  • The opening holds one visually busy POV for 3.5 s while brand and product text appear; this creates a visual question before the first cut.
  • A 26-cut middle (32.5 confirmed cuts/min overall) alternates people, tactile keyboard/case details and actual tablet activity, so benefits have proof rather than only labels.
  • The ending changes pace decisively: product lineup from 0:39.4, mint brand slate from 0:44.4, then a logo reveal at the most-replayed 0:47.0–0:47.5. The replay peak may partly reflect end-of-video behavior (inferred).

Pace27 measured shots · 26 confirmed cuts, 32.5/min; up to 61.2/min if 23 uncertain fast-motion changes are cuts · 1.78 s mean, 1.4 s median shot; 8.63 s final shot
ScriptVery little readable copy: product name, device compatibility, three benefit phrases and end card. No reliable spoken script. The automated 26-word transcript repeats the same generic line and has 14 low-confidence words; exclude its 55 wpm figure.
VoiceNo intelligible narrator verified from supplied evidence; plan this as music-led with no spoken copy (inferred).
On screenPredominantly live-action lifestyle and hands-on product footage; brief title/benefit overlays; roughly 9 s designed product/end cards.
CaptionsNo dialogue subtitles; white, medium-weight centered benefit headlines appear only at key beat changes.
SoundMusic-led, roughly 110 BPM estimate (low confidence); no clear effects on cuts; −12.9 LUFS integrated, −1.6 dBFS true peak.
Structure5 beats: title hook → social play → focused creation → outdoor freedom → product lineup/brand. Product payoff at 0:39.4; no spoken CTA.
