Field notes / why it works

The moving turquoise graphic and app tile establish a new-release promise by 0:01.5. Tightly cropped UI backs each oversized claim at 0:14–0:30 and 0:44–0:47, while 14 internal changes keep nine long shots active. A quantified speed benefit around 0:50 gives the reel a final payoff before the red brand card.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A silent-viewable, music-led announcement turns a list of software improvements into a bright illustrated reel. A moving abstract mascot and chunky type introduce each claim; cropped product-interface captures then prove it. The promise begins with the “new releases” label by 0:01.5 and resolves in a quantified speed claim around 0:50.

Why it works

  • It identifies the update within 1.5 s using a moving turquoise ribbon, a small app icon, and just two words, before asking viewers to parse a UI.
  • The reel alternates illustrated claims with visible interface proof: artboard locking at 0:14–0:16, gradient controls at 0:17–0:30, snapping at 0:32–0:39, and the font browser at 0:44–0:47.
  • The ending saves its largest benefit for 0:50: a blue-boxed “up to 6x faster” claim, then a full red brand card at 0:52.9.
