BRAVIA Theatre Quad: Spatial Sound Product Tour
A wordless, cinematic hardware launch film that makes spatial audio visible through room-scale blue diagrams and detailed product renders.
Field notes / why it works
The film identifies the product before revealing the object at 0:02.7, then turns an invisible audio claim into blue, room-scale sound fields at 0:23–0:31. The strongest replayed moment, 1:19.6–1:21.1, shows freely placed speakers resolving into a calibrated listening field; 34 graphic changes sustain movement despite only 20 major shots across 2:33.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A quiet, premium 16:9 product launch film turns an unfamiliar four-piece home-theatre system into a spatial experience. It introduces the physical object, visualizes an invisible benefit as blue sound fields, then cycles through practical advantages, internal engineering, connected features, and a final product lineup. Text labels do the explaining; there is no intelligible narration.
Why it works
- The first second supplies only the product name on near-black, letting curiosity build before the first scene appears at 0:02.7 and the first measured cut at 0:08.4.
- Abstract audio benefits become visible: blue phantom-speaker rings at 0:23–0:31 and the room-sized field at 1:15–1:21. The latter is the strongest replayed window (1:19.6–1:21.1).
- The middle alternates emotional outcomes with concrete proof: a spectacular room scene around 0:35, placement and calibration around 0:50–1:21, then speaker internals at 1:26–1:38.

|---|---|
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 2:33 at 30 fps; measured file 640×360 |
| Pace | 20 shots; 19 firm cuts; 7.5–11.8 possible cuts/min; 34 in-shot graphic changes; about 20.8 total picture changes/min; mean shot 7.65 s |
| Script | Sparse on-screen benefit and feature labels; no reliable spoken words or WPM |
| Voice | None heard or reliably transcribed; music is mistaken for speech in the automatic transcript |
| On screen | CGI or polished product renders, staged living-room scenes, abstract blue sound graphics, UI mockup, typography cards; no presenter |
| Captions | No speech captions; short white feature labels, usually top or center, plus small technical footnotes |
| Sound | Continuous cinematic instrumental bed (music identified in source description); little evidence of cut-synced SFX; −19.5 LUFS integrated, −0.6 dBFS true peak |
| Structure | Name → hero → sensory benefit → setup → calibration → engineering → app/ecosystem → hero end card; no spoken CTA |
