Field notes / why it works

The white logo appears immediately, repeated product-name type takes over by 1.2 seconds, and the shoe is visible by about 1.9 seconds. Ten confirmed cuts in the first 8.7 seconds make laces, coffee gear, cups and socks feel like a fast preparation ritual; a longer running finish supplies the payoff. The 3.0–3.2-second shoe detail and 9.1–9.3-second runner exit match the two replay peaks.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A 15-second, speech-free brand launch film turns getting ready into anticipation: logo and repeated product-name type, tactile product and coffee-prep close-ups, then a runner moving through a narrow street. The visual promise is speed made personal; the product appears by about 2 seconds, while the active payoff begins around 9 seconds.

Why it works

  • The 0:00–0:03 hook names the brand and product through a white logo and multiplying “fuelcell rebel” text while moving into a shoe close-up. Its first cut lands at 1.17 s.
  • Ten confirmed cuts occur before about 8.7 s. Laces, shoe profile, grinder, portafilter, cups and socks make the preparation feel fast and tactile.
  • The pace releases into a moving exterior sequence from about 8.7–15.0 s; the logo returns near the end. The shoe/lace moment around 0:03.0–0:03.2 is the top replay peak (relative score 0.79).

Pace11 detected shots, 10 confirmed cuts, 39.9 cuts/min; mean 1.37 s, median 0.83 s. Eleven uncertain changes in the moving finish give a possible 39.9–83.9 cuts/min range.
ScriptNo spoken script or voiceover; visual text is a brand mark and repeated product name. Spoken WPM: none.
VoiceNone. The moving person is an athletic runner archetype, not a presenter.
On screenAbout 1.2 s brand/setting, 2.6 s product/type, 5.0 s tactile prep, 6.3 s running/exterior; approximate from shot boundaries and sheets.
CaptionsNo speech captions. Large, lowercase, repeated white product-name typography fills the early shoe frames.
SoundDescription calls it running × coffee ASMR; an energetic music cue is indicated by the transcript label (inferred). Integrated −14.5 LUFS, true peak −1.7 dBFS.
StructureBrand and product (0–3.0) → preparation (3.0–8.7) → action and end brand (8.7–15.0); no verbal CTA.
