A Car Privacy Promise, Made Visible
A 95-second privacy explainer uses a dark studio car render, sparse data diagrams, and real control screens to make an abstract assurance tangible.
Field notes / why it works
The title resolves by 1.25 seconds and the lit car arrives at 2.75 seconds, turning an abstract subject into a precise product promise. Seventeen graphic changes carry the explanation without hard cuts; the phone-map reveal at 0:25–0:26 is the strongest replayed point, and the 1:17 touchscreen sequence shows where a viewer can act.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A calm product film turns an abstract trust claim into visible mechanisms. A hero product sits alone in a nearly black studio; narration moves from the general promise to specific defaults, an apparent exception, anonymous data, user controls, and a closing ownership line. The object, icons, simulated UI, and tiny bottom subtitles carry the explanation without a presenter.
Why it works
- The opening title resolves slowly by 1.25 seconds; the product appears at 2.75 seconds as narration starts at 2.98 seconds. The delayed reveal gives a premium, deliberate entry.
- At 0:15–0:31, a dark road diagram and then a location app make a privacy distinction concrete. The 0:25–0:26 app reveal is the strongest replay interval.
- At 0:48–1:25, abstract assurances turn into camera/recording icons, a consent choice, and an actual settings screen. The viewer sees the proposed controls before the closing claim.

| Pace | 1 continuous detected shot, 0 hard cuts, 17 on-screen step changes, 10.7 picture changes/min. Semantic scenes change through fades and graphic builds, so the 95 s measured shot is not a static take. |
| Script | 208 spoken words · 141 wpm across the whole film, about 196 wpm during speech · 13 sentences, 16 words each on average · no spoken questions · second person appears often (14.4 “you” per 100 words). |
| Voice | One clear, adult, higher-register, measured corporate narrator; no visible speaker. |
| On screen | Approximately 47 s hero vehicle/road, 15 s abstract data field, 14 s front-on vehicle and controls, 11 s touchscreen UI, 8 s title/consent/closing cards. These are visual groups, not detected cuts. |
| Captions | Small, white, full-sentence subtitle line centered close to the bottom edge; no karaoke or highlighted words. |
| Sound | Continuous low tonal/ambient bed under narration (music-like measurement); restrained, no clearly evidenced effects. Integrated −30.7 LUFS and true peak −12.8 dBFS in supplied file. |
