A Currency Goes to Therapy
A 30-second cinematic therapy sketch personifies a troubled currency, shows a brief app action, and ends on a dry joke and brand promise.
Field notes / why it works
The engraved currency face becomes a speaking character by 0:02.3, making the premise clear before the office conversation. Three brisk product inserts around 0:10.8–0:13.9 turn the joke into a visible app action, while a 1.44-second pause before the 0:24.9 deadpan reply gives the 0:27.3 brand promise a clean finish.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A familiar object or problem becomes a worried patient in a therapist's office. The counsellor's answers turn a playful exchange into a product benefit, with a brief app glimpse and a closing joke before the centered brand promise. The reference announces its money theme in the first 0.25 s, and the product proof arrives around 0:11.
Why it works
- A banknote's engraved face becomes a speaking, statue-like character at 0:02.3: the visual joke is legible before any explanation.
- The room-wide view at 0:08.6 and device inserts at 0:10.8–0:13.9 change the proof from dialogue to a usable app without losing the scene.
- The 0:21.6 question and 0:24.9 deadpan response close the sketch; the 0:27.3 brand line follows when the dialogue has ended.

| Pace | 14 shots; 13 cuts = 26/min; 2 within-shot changes = 30 picture changes/min; mean shot 2.15 s, median 2.13 s |
| Script | 71 transcribed Portuguese words; 160 wpm over the full film, 204 wpm during speech; 9 short sentences, 2 questions. Some automatic transcription is unreliable, so use the dialogue's function rather than its exact wording. |

| On screen | About 49% therapy dialogue, 31% banknote/title and character close-ups, 11% device/product inserts, 9% final two-shot (approximate from shot durations) |
| Captions | No continuous captions; tiny burned subtitles on live-action dialogue, large white uppercase opener and end claim |
| Sound | Continuous tonal bed around −28.5 dBFS, about 11.6 dB below speech; no clearly evidenced recurring cut effects; −13.1 LUFS integrated, −0.9 dBFS true peak |
| Structure | Currency-title hook → complaint → counsel and app proof → reassurance → joke → brand promise; no spoken CTA |
