A Workspace Assembles Around a Mystery Product
A silent 3D product teaser turns an abstract object into an office scene, then withholds the reveal behind spare launch cards.
Field notes / why it works
The first 3 seconds keep a small metallic object unexplained while a circular lens enters, creating a visual question without voice or captions. The camera then moves from a top-down orbit around 0:07 to a complete workspace by 0:10, and the dark monitor at 0:13.4–0:13.7 coincides with the strongest replay peak. A short promise and black launch cards finish the 23-second tease without showing the product outright.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, cinematic product teaser begins with a small unidentifiable 3D object. A circular lens or portal sweeps past it, the camera pulls through a top-down arrangement of desk objects, and a full workspace resolves. It offers clues about the product category while withholding the product itself, then closes on a short promise and launch date.
Why it works
- The first 2.75 s show only a hovering metallic form and the edge of a lens; the missing context opens a visual question before any copy appears.
- The highest replay point is 0:13.4–0:13.7, when the camera has landed on the dark monitor. Viewers appear to inspect this near-reveal (inferred); comments guess the product category.
- The widescreen room-to-desk progression at about 0:09.6–0:14.7 makes a single environment feel like a reveal. The text remains sparse, so the scene carries the story.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 23.0 s · source file 640×360 at 30 fps |
| Pace | 2 detected shots, 1 definite cut at 0:04.65; 5 uncertain changes. Report 2.6–15.6 cuts/min, with 10.4 measured picture changes/min. Measured mean shot length 11.51 s; continuous camera motion makes it feel faster. |
| Script | No spoken words. Approximately three brief text moments in the supplied frames; no subtitles. |
| Voice | None. No person appears. Pitch figures in the automated facts are not a usable voice description because no speech was detected. |
| On screen | About 70% animated object/room reveal through 0:16; about 30% sparse dark end cards thereafter (estimated from frames). No talking head or screen recording. |
| Captions | None. Small centered product-promise text appears on the monitor and a short closing line appears on black. |
| Sound | Audio track present; measured −15.4 LUFS integrated, −2.2 dBFS true peak. Detected pulse about 179 BPM (or half-time around 90); instrumentation and individual effects cannot be confirmed from sheets. |
| Structure | Abstract clue → circular transition → room reveal → monitor clue → black end card → closing slogan. The product stays hidden; the description supplies the sign-up call to action. |
