Field notes / why it works

The first 8.8 seconds make the old solution feel heavy and fiddly without narration, then reveal the alternative. Three homeowner perspectives tie practical burdens to visible footage, and a reported outage during the interview at 1:03 leads to an observable no-glitch moment around 1:06–1:14, where a replay peak occurs.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A cinematic customer testimonial opens on the physical nuisance of an old solution, then lets three ordinary owners explain its real-life costs. The promised alternative appears after the first 8 seconds; the strongest proof is a power outage that happens during an interview around 1:03, followed by the claim of an uninterrupted home.

Why it works

  • The first 8.8 seconds contain no speech: hands, a heavy machine, controls, and a problem lead the viewer to ask what replaces it.
  • The edit supplies evidence for each complaint: shed and fuel imagery at 0:22–0:43, exhaust around 0:58, then quiet wall-mounted hardware at 1:00.
  • A real-time event at 1:03–1:14 turns “seamless backup” into a small story; the replay peak at 1:06.5–1:07.5 sits on the “no glitch” moment.
