Search Becomes a Virtual Fitting Room

A 29-second shopping feature film turns a typed query into successive full-body try-on reveals inside a floating phone.

Field notes / why it works

The query finishes as a model enters in the first 3 seconds, and the phone shows the first try-on by about 0:03.6, so the benefit is demonstrated immediately. Outfit changes around 0:08–0:10, a scale claim around 0:14.5, and a second model from about 0:19 refresh the same clean composition; the most-replayed interval, 0:28.1–0:28.4, falls on the closing call to action.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A tiny search box floats in a warm-white studio; the query types while a model walks into view. A tall phone becomes a moving fitting room: the selected clothing appears on a person, alternatives cycle, a second person proves breadth, and a spare final card names the action. The promise becomes visible by about 0:03–0:04, before any explanatory headline.

Why it works

  • The 0:00–0:03 search and walking model pose an immediate visual question; the 0:03.6 red outfit inside the phone answers it.
  • Product proof repeats with different clothes at 0:08–0:10 and a different person at 0:19–0:25, so the benefit is shown rather than explained.
  • A four-word scale card near 0:14.5 resets attention, while the 0:27.4–0:29 closing card converts the demonstration into an action. The most-replayed interval is 0:28.1–0:28.4, during that closing card; the data alone does not prove why viewers replayed it.

VoiceRhythmic, energetic sung vocals in the music; no presenter or explanatory voiceover.
On screenFull-frame minimal studio composition; live-action model movement and oversized composited mobile UI carry most of the film, with two short headline/card moments.
CaptionsNo speech captions; a small search query, UI labels, one scale claim, and a two-line final CTA.
SoundUpbeat vocal-led pop/hip-hop bed drives the rhythm. Measured master −6.6 LUFS integrated, +1.4 dBFS true peak.
