Pixel Fold dark-edge reveal
A 15-second product teaser that turns one continuous edge-light reveal into a name and date payoff.
Field notes / why it works
A thin, widening product silhouette carries the first seven seconds with no cuts, while a 15-word line resolves its double meaning near 0:06. The delayed name card arrives around 0:08.2 and holds through the strongest replay point at 0:10.6; a lone date near 0:11.4 gives the viewer one clear next cue.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A nearly black product teaser makes the viewer study thin reflective edges before it names the object. A low narrator delivers one short line with a double meaning tied to the product's action; the final seconds give the product name and date. The promise is implicit at 0:00 and becomes explicit on the title card around 0:08.2.
Why it works
- The silhouette starts as a sliver at 0:00–0:01, then opens gradually for roughly seven seconds; the motion creates a visual question without a cut.
- The line ends on the product action at about 0:06.1, just before the title appears around 0:08.2. Picture and language resolve the same idea in sequence.
- The product-name card stays visible through the main replay peak at 0:10.6–0:10.7; the date follows at about 0:11.4.
