Giving a Forest a Voice
A cinematic campaign film turns forest data into a tree's point of view, then proves the idea through fieldwork and article outputs.
Field notes / why it works
An eight-second landscape opening and small text line make the idea feel spacious before speech begins. The 0:42–0:55 voice reveal and long pause create a strong chapter turn; satellite views, sensor work, and readable article headlines from 1:12–1:49 make the surprising claim credible. The final question over a lone winter tree at 2:02–2:04 is the strongest replay point.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A cinematic brand documentary gives a normally unheard subject a point of view. It opens on a human truth and a quiet landscape, reveals the project's new capability at 0:40–0:49, then earns that claim through fieldwork, expert explanation, and visible outputs before ending with a direct question to the viewer.
Why it works
- The 0:00–0:08 landscape has no speech and no cut; the first text appears around 0:02.2. That spacious opening makes the later reveal feel consequential.
- The 0:42–0:49 reveal is followed by a 12.12-second speech pause and a new chapter title. It lets the promise register before the how-it-works section.
- The abstract claim gets physical proof: satellite imagery at 1:12–1:18, people installing and reading sensors at 1:20–1:38, then article headlines at 1:42–1:49.
