Retro Handheld Game and Watch Reveal
A 56-second handheld launch trailer that moves from full-screen gameplay into a fixed product shot with four changing screen states.
Field notes / why it works
The first 1.7 seconds establish an occasion, then full-screen gameplay shows the core experience before speech starts at 0:05.3. A 30.09-second locked product shot changes its screen four times, keeping the device clear while adding proof; the 0:34.8–0:35.3 bonus-mode reveal is the strongest replay peak. A nearly 12-second release card makes the date easy to retain.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A compact product announcement opens with an anniversary-style emblem, then shows the core experience before revealing it inside the device that delivers it. A held, front-facing product shot becomes the frame for several proof points; a large date card closes the sales message.
Why it works
- The first 1.7 s borrows recognition from a colorful celebration mark, then immediately moves to the core experience; the first word waits until 0:05.3.
- One locked device shot runs 0:12.6–0:42.6, but its screen changes at 0:20.2, 0:25.0, 0:31.2, and 0:35.2. The frame stays easy to understand while each change gives a new reason to look.
- The most replayed interval, 0:34.8–0:35.3, straddles the change into the final game mode; the date and package arrive later at 0:42.6.
