Audi A6 Avant Cinematic Launch Film
A music-led car launch that moves from human intrigue through feature proof and mountain driving to a long dusk reveal.
Field notes / why it works
A human portrait opens the film, the model name appears by 0:02, and 47 cuts progressively reveal exterior form, cabin features, and moving proof. The top replay peak at 0:44.2–0:45.0 lands on the panoramic roof demonstration before the mountain-road montage; a 12.16-second final tableau gives the name and setting room to register.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A widescreen product launch film begins with a human moment, names the product by 0:02, then moves from form and interface to performance and the life around it. Short cinematic shots, restrained white feature labels, and an almost continuous music bed carry the story; a long final tableau names the product again.
Why it works
- The 1.68-second human opening creates curiosity before the 0:02 product name; the first ten seconds use only four cuts, giving the reveal space.
- The middle demonstrates distinct claims in context: panoramic display at 0:18–0:20, passenger screen at 0:27, lights at 0:33, drivetrain at 0:39, and glass roof at 0:44.
- The most replayed span, 0:44.2–0:45.0, pairs the roof feature label with a tactile cabin interaction, then immediately cuts to mountain driving. The extended 0:66.6–0:78.8 closing frame lets the product name settle.
