A 47-second automotive launch film that turns a long gated-selector close-up into the hinge of a rapid mountain-driving montage.
Field notes / why it works
The film withholds the full car until 0:06.9, moving from empty landscape to badge, wheel and body detail. Its longest non-end shot holds the signature selector for 4.93 seconds at 0:09.5, overlapping the top replay peak at 0:09.6–0:10.1; sub-second operation and driving cuts from 0:15.6 then turn the feature into action.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
Begin with an empty, cinematic environment; reveal the brand and product in progressively more intimate fragments; linger on the differentiating mechanism; then cut rapidly between a person operating it and the product in motion. Why it works
- An empty mountain view holds until 0:02.3, then a red badge close-up resolves the visual curiosity.
- The feature reveal at 0:09.5 is the longest non-end shot (4.93 s) and coincides with the strongest replay interval, 0:09.6–0:10.1.
- The edit accelerates at 0:15.6–0:18.7 and 0:40–0:42, turning the static mechanism into a felt driving experience.
