Can pressure stop the deep ocean freezing?
A fast overhead whiteboard explainer tests a pressure claim with paired numbers, then resolves it through a saltwater and circulation drawing.
Field notes / why it works
The question is established by 0:03 with six picture changes, and a short answer arrives around 0:03.6 while the drawing keeps developing. Paired pressure/temperature cases at 0:17–0:28 set up the freshwater-to-saltwater reversal, and the integrated basin drawing at 0:48.5–0:49.5 coincides with the strongest replay peak.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A brisk, overhead whiteboard explainer asks a counterintuitive science question, gives a quick answer, then earns a deeper one with a hand-drawn test. Numbers become little diagrams, the first answer gains a boundary condition, and the final scene joins the pieces into one visual conclusion.
Why it works
- The question is complete by 0:03, after six detected picture changes in the first three seconds; the spoken answer arrives around 0:03.6.
- Two paired numerical cases appear around 0:18–0:28, then a freshwater-to-saltwater turn at 0:28.2 makes the apparent answer incomplete.
- The 0:46–0:50 drawing of circulation, salt and a character-like ocean is the strongest replay peak (0:48.5–0:49.5); a top comment specifically notices that drawing.
